FCSA FOREIGN TEAM POLICY
  • All non-FCSA teams (“foreign teams”) must abide by FCSA bylaws and playing rules when participating in any FCSA league play (i.e., stamped rosters & player passes at each game, D licensed coach for competitive teams, etc.). This Foreign Team Policy shall apply to both Oklahoma and non-Oklahoma foreign teams that are permitted to participate in the FCSA Competitive League by the FCSA Competitive League Commission or in any FCSA Recreational League by the FCSA Playing Committee.

  • All foreign teams will provide a copy of their stamped roster & FCSA Team Information for Scheduling Form to FCSA by the deadline set by the FCSA Competitive League Commission (competitive) or FCSA Playing Committee (traveling recreational). Foreign team rosters must be stamped by their country/association (e.g., Lawton, Marlow, & Altus teams must have a Red River stamp; Clinton, Weatherford, & Elk City teams must have a Great Plains stamp; Woodward, Enid, & Ponca City teams must have a Red Carpet stamp; Ardmore, Sulphur, & Pauls Valley teams must have a Lake Country stamp; etc.). Foreign teams will not be required to obtain an FCSA stamp on their rosters or player passes.

  • Each foreign team wishing to play in FCSA league must pay $25 per team registration fee. This fee must be paid by the deadline for submitting the FCSA Team Information for Scheduling Form or the team will not be scheduled.

  • Each foreign team wishing to play in FCSA league must put up a $125 referee bond. This bond must be in the FCSA office by the deadline for submitting the FCSA Team Information for Scheduling Form or the team will not be scheduled. This money is to reimburse clubs for referee fees if a team does not show. A team must keep a full bond in place with FCSA at all times. Unused bonds will be returned at the end of the seasonal year.

  • Foreign teams listed as “home” for games played within FCSA on the “away” team’s fields will be responsible for referee fees. Arrangement for payment of referee fees must be made with the hosting club prior to the game.

  • Foreign teams will be responsible for both a field usage fee and all referee fees for any games that the foreign team plays on neutral sites. Arrangement for payment of these fees must be made with the hosting club prior to the game.

  • No FCSA recreational team will be required to travel outside of FCSA boundaries to play any foreign teams.

  • No FCSA competitive team will be required to travel more than 100 miles more than once per season to play any foreign teams; provided, however, that FCSA competitive teams participating in the Oklahoma Premier League (OPL) will travel as required by the OPL.

Administrative notes:

  1. Clubs need to have referee fees and field usage fees on file with FCSA.
  2. Use of reschedule forms becomes critical to avoid conflicts with no-show claims.
  3. Foreign recreational teams (and competitive teams who will be playing home games within FCSA boundaries) must inform FCSA (on the FCSA Team Information for Scheduling Form) if the games on which they are listed as “Home Team” are to be scheduled at a specific neutral site within FCSA boundaries or if they are to be scheduled at the visiting team’s complex. Home field arrangements must be made by the foreign team prior to the deadline for submitting the FCSA Team Information for Scheduling Form.
  4. Teams will have to report no shows within 48 hours. This needs to be coordinated with club.
